Astro A40 Headset Unboxing

Hi everyone,
I have just unboxed the Astro A40 Gaming headset over on the Buzzpods Youtube channel which you can subscribe to here. Anyway, just as a quick summary of the Astro A40s before we publish our full review, the headset is designed for console hence the included preamp. The Astro A40s are aimed at competitive and gaming enthusiasts who want a good blend between design, sound quality and build quality. The Astro A40s are packed with unique features and smart design choices however, I have not had enough experience with the headset yet to provide my final opinions on them. Finally, the Astro A40s have a virtual 7.1 surround sound feel as a result of the included preamp and smart driver and software design. The Astro A40s can also be purchased without the preamp for around £70 less if you are using a PC sound card or you are happy with the stereo output of your console.

My initial impressions of the Astro A40s are that they posses excellent build quality, a first class unboxing experience and comfortable ergonomics allowing me to wear the Astro A40s for lengthy gaming sessions.
