Nvidia Geforce GTX 880 Specs Rumored?

A few days ago the specs for the all-new Nvidia Geforce GTX 880! was rumored by Tyden.cz. The new card from the green team is said to feature the all-new Maxwell architecture and SMM (Streaming Multiprocessor Maxwell) SIMD designs which we all saw debut on the awesome GTX 750ti a short while ago at this point. Gosh!, it feels as if we were reading these kind of leaks about the 780 just a few months ago.

It is also rumored that the new GPU core will be called GM 204, an all-new bigger, better and even more beastly core than the GK 110 core that has been hanging around for such a long time now. This new core should obviously be alot faster than the old one but we should also be seeing improvements across the board with this new core as you will see in the spec list below including CUDA cores, video memory and much more!

It is also a valid point to remember the GTX 880 chips that we found in some of the new gaming laptops although they do not have much in common with the beastly flagship desktop cards of course.

One thing however regarding the likely release time for this card is that unfortunately, if Nvidia follows their previous trends at nect-gen video card releases then they will most likely start at the bottom of the line and work their way up over the course of a few months.

Feel free as usual to share your thoughts on this topic below and are you hoping to get your hands on this card any time soon? I know I am!
